Quality
A documented system,
not a claimed attribute
Our commitment to continual improvement took concrete form when the firm was awarded ISO 9001 management system certification. Traceable procedures, certified competences and systematic verification of results.

Quality policy
Continual improvement as a calling
In a team it is important to share one's weaknesses too: that is what sets continual improvement in motion, which is essential in an organisation working in architecture and engineering.
Client satisfaction and the quality of our services are the foundation of the firm's growth. Process oversight is based on the plan, do, check and review cycle, on performance indicators and on internal audits.
Sustainability is managed through the application of the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) and the DNSH principle, where required by the procurement procedure.
Quality management system
The improvement cycle
The system is built on the plan, do, check, act (PDCA) cycle, following the structure of clauses 4 to 10 of ISO 9001:2015. Top management sits at the centre: it sets the quality policy and is accountable for it.

The process map
Every commission passes through a sequence of documented operational processes, backed by management and support processes. Measured results flow back to the start of the chain as experience for future commissions.

Information process
How design quality is safeguarded
-
01
Knowledge of the existing building
Every intervention starts by establishing the existing condition: archival research, topographic survey and laser scanning. The point cloud minimises uncertainty and design errors.
-
02
Information model
Survey data are fed into BIM and GIS systems to support the design process, with internal BIM Standards and clash detection between disciplines.
-
03
Oversight of execution
The information process accompanies construction, supporting works supervision and health and safety coordination in the control of time, costs and progress.
-
04
As-built model
On completion of the work, an information copy of the finished building is produced, on which all maintenance works can be planned.
Quality management system
Checking the deliverable
No deliverable leaves the office without being checked by someone other than its author. If the check finds a defect, the deliverable returns to drafting and goes through the loop again.
Certified competences
The team's qualifications
BIM Manager and CDE Manager
Certified professionals for information coordination and management of the common data environment.
BIM Coordinator and BIM Specialist
In-house, overseeing modelling and discipline coordination.
Construction site safety
Coordinators qualified under Legislative Decree No. 81/2008 for the design and execution phases.
Fire safety design
The Technical Directorate is qualified to work in the field of fire prevention.
Equipment and data security
Our information assets stay under control
Data storage is not left solely to cloud solutions, but entrusted to dedicated, protected and appropriately sized local systems, to ensure security, business continuity and full control over our information assets.
IT infrastructure
Redundant servers, RAID storage connected via optical fibre, redundant backup, centralised management of domain users and secure remote access.
Processing
High-performance graphics workstations, needed to handle the large volumes of information produced by point clouds, digital surveys and BIM models.
Survey equipment
Leica Geosystems laser scanner, total station, GPS antenna and controller, with dedicated point cloud processing software.
Quality management system
